Our story

Riad El Filali was built in the beginning of the 19th century for a family coming from an oasis in the south of Morocco, called Tafilalelt (near Risani)

It's an orginal traditional house, with beautiful carved stucco arches. All the rooms are situated around its' inner courtyard with ornamental pool, trees and flowering plants , both calming and cooling.

We bought the house in 2000 and had it restored and decorated in the traditional way with the European comfort standards.

We decided one year after having the house, to open it to public and to start a B&B place.

Which we still find a very rich and interesting experience. We are very proud and happy to know the marrocan people , their kindness,

This is Narcisse, a small bird who knocks at our door in the morning to tell us that we have visitors. Why we called him Narcisse? You will find out while watching him.
